Shared Blessings at Northminster Presbyterian Church

First Tuesday of the month
1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

Third Tuesday of the month
6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Every first and third Tuesdays of the month, Northminster Presbyterian Church will distribute the following items to members of the community to help them during difficult times:

  • toilet paper
  • diapers
  • baby wipes
  • detergent

Distribution of these items will be in the church’s north sanctuary. If you would like to receive these items, please enter through the North door of the church.

Please consider donating items for this cause. We need all sizes of diapers. We are also in need of detergent, baby wipes, and toilet paper.

Nursery Supervisor Needed!

The personnel committee is looking for a nursery supervisor to care for our “Young Christians” on Sunday mornings and for occasional evening meetings. If you are interested, please call the church at 233-2540 or inquire at amesnpc@gmail.com.

Sunday, July 8 – Joint worship service with CPC (at Northminster) followed by an ice cream social

Friday, August 3 – Takin’ You Out to the Ballpark!  I-Cubs vs. Salt Lake City Bees. Game starts at 7pm; Sign up for tickets in the Gathering Space and let us know if you need a ride. Tickets cost $8 each.

Sunday, August 26 – Welcome Back from Summer Vacation. Outdoor Worship Service (weather permitting), followed by an all-NPC “picnic”’ in the Gathering Space. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided; if you’re able, please bring a dish to share.

Saturdays, September 29 and October 10 –“Embracing and Preparing for Life’s End” 10am -1pm both days. Ease the pain and stress on yourself and your loved ones by considering end-of-life medical decisions and funeral plans in advance. Session one will feature a professional from Mary Greeley Medical Center who will discuss medical power of attorney, palliative care, IPost options, and hospice.  During the second session, Pastor Jim and a local funeral director will offer advice on decisions that can help with preparations before the end of life occurs.

Sunday, September 30 – Visit the DeMoss Pumpkin Patch. Pick out your pumpkin, enjoy a hayrack ride, and bring food for a classic NPC picnic.  Starts at 3pm. Rides cost $6/per person.

Saturday, November 17 – Parents’ Day Out, Reprise! Time for parents to take a break–go out for lunch, do some shopping, or pamper yourselves while the Gather Team (with help) watches your children from 10am – 2pm.
